Season 2 was officially announced via Rick & Morty's Facebook page, on March 2nd. With a post only saying: "Summer 2015. Summer. This. Summer."
The episode title is a play on the Newbery Award book "A Wrinkle In Time" by Madeleine L'Engle.
Rick starts using the phrase, "And awayyyy we go!" This was a catch phrase of actor Jackie Gleason on his sketch show and series, "The Honeymooners" (1955).
