An awesome, action packed, and dark hour of person of interest. "Search And Destroy". To quote Matt Fowler of IGN When Samaritan is truly acting is the invisible, and emotionless being that it is its terrifying and creepy. of course i never tell spoilers but its a chilling hour where root returns to team with john and finch to protect an anti virus software developer who attracts the renegade A.I'S attention. we also get major plot advancement when it comes to the machine and the idea of Samaritan itself trying to find the machines location. from roots introduction scenes to john having to fly solo with khan and Samaritan and a trip to Rikers, Search and Destroy was an awesome hour to get us into the groove of the final four episodes.

Finally after weeks of run of the mill POI, the chief focus of this season is back. Samaritan has become more ruthless than ever and our team machine is still fighting an enormous fire. Underhanded, understaffed but undeterred is what Team machine has become. The acting, the screen writing, the humor, this episode has it all and this hour leaves a sweet taste of entertainment.
This episode furthers the arc of Root as a ruthless woman who is out to avenge from Shaw to the machine. At the same time, it develops the character of Samaritan who has been hell bent to find the machine. Every act of Samaritan is drenched in malice and it has become ever more aware of its power and its ruthless objective to hunt down the machine. The odds are bad for our team machine and with four episodes left, this is about to become a fast ride to finish. This episode has set the ball rolling for the eventual fight between the AI as well as their corresponding minions. Thus, all viewers, fasten your seat belts for the final stretch!

The Machine delivers the name of Sulaiman Khan, who is the CEO of the company he founded, Castellum, the greatest in the world in computer security system. Their anti-virus is installed in 86% of the worldwide systems and he is researching a new chip. Out of the blue, Khan is cybernetically attacked, ruining his personal and professional life. Soon Finch and Reese conclude that this attack was orchestrated by the Samaritan, while Khan believes an artificial intelligence is responsible for his downfall. But why?
"Search and Destroy" is the return of the lead story of the Fourth Season of "Person of Interest", showing the evilness of Samaritan and Greer. There is one scene that irritates the vie, hen Reese stops Root from killing Martine. This type of recurrent cliches in this series is ridiculous, since Martine is a cold-blooded killer for Greer's targets. My vote is nine.
