The least interesting people on TV

Many years ago TLC premiered Little People Big World. This was the first of its type, a heartfelt family reality program about the struggles and similarities of a family living with dwarfism. The Roloffs for many humanized little people. I sincerely cared about that family. They were interesting to watch and lived on a beautiful property. Watching the Roloff kids grow up over the years was charming. Then sometime later The Little Couple was aired. This show lacked the same feeling as Little People Big World. It was watchable but both Jen and her husband weren't as likable as the Roloffs. Now there's this abomination of television. Our little Family single handedly undid all the progress TLC has made in normalizing little families. Presented here are a family of annoying, whiny fakers. This family is so devoid of personality that honestly i don't see the appeal. The kids make me want to blow my brains out and every scene is obviously scripted. I know all reality TV is scripted to some extent but this is just lazy. Example; the wife goes out for drinks with her "normal" friends and when she come's home her husband is reading a book in bed to which she says "A book?! i was just out with my friends having drinks! We're so different!" Avoid this show at all costs and maybe it will go away forever.

HE IS THE MOST ADORABLE "LITTLE" KID THERE IS! HIS COMMENTS AND ONE- LINERS ARE TO DIE FOR. AND WHEN HE STARTS RUNNING AROUND WITH HIS ARMS SWINGING AROUND, CRACKS ME UP. WHOLE FAMILY IS GREAT>>TWINS ARE SO SWEET. MOM and DAD awesome. DAN is cute with his comments, esp when he knows he can't get over on Michelle. hilarious. thank you for sharing your lives with everyone...adorable and entertaining and very informative at the same time. i haven't seen but a few episodes, but from what i've seen so far they seem like a very "normal" family with the same types of struggles everyone faces. they seem to adapt very well. i appreciate what they are going through and especially when they're out in public and some people stare or try and take pictures. just rude.

I love this "little" family. The kids are adorable and the parents so down to earth and likable. I've been watching The Little Couple for a few seasons and when I discovered this new show I found it to be just as enjoyable and informative. Their ability to adapt and function in a world geared for averaged sized people is amazing ... Nothing stops them. I hope TLC will keep them in their line up ... It would be fun to watch these delightful little kids grow up. And, I hope the parents will continue share their life experiences with us. It isn't often that reality television is actually "real " and unscripted, but this show appears to be just that, real. I'm looking forward to the new season .

I love The Little Couple and Little People, Big World so I have decided to watch this program since it was advertised a lot on TLC for ages. I began to watch Season 1 episode 4 and I thought to myself, this isn't interesting as I thought it would be. Technically, it was actually disappointing.

Don't get me wrong, the children are absolutely beautiful and the family seem like a nice crowd but really, are they? I felt this show lacked from reality altogether and acted as if it was like Keeping up with the Kardashians show because not only they acted fake but people around them like friends,etc did as well. I really feel sorry for the kids in having to go through this bad reality show. I would go watch more of the Little Couple or Little People, Big World if I were you...

I miss this series. It was fun and engaging. The cast had a bright outlook on life. I wish it was still on instead of Little People. My opinion.

Not interested

The show seems scripted especially the kids. I am NOT feeling it. The mom comes across grumpy. The kids are cute but what they say and how they eat are a turn off. What happens with a lot of these shows is they find normal people but then the people get paid and become different and then I don't want to watch them anymore (hence Kate plus 8). I find myself rolling my eyes watching Our Little Family and not smiling. I cannot pin point what specifically it is. I like Little People and the Little Couple so it isn't that I am prejudice. I would love to see about 10 new shows on TLC. I am tired of reruns of all the same shows. Lets get some imagination going TLC. Shake it up a bit but please stop putting unpleasant people on the show. I am sure there are billions of more interesting families and interests.

What does mom want????

The commercial where mom asks for no pix to be taken implies that "tall" people are insensitive. However, in her first commercial, she says "What is special about my family is that we are all small". So, it's OK to cash in on her new found fame AND be condescending to tall people at the same time when they recognize her and her family. How does she know they are taking pix because they are little people? Maybe they are taking pix because the Little Family is on television and people just simply recognize them. How presumptuous. While I agree that perhaps before taking pix, people should ask permission, but either she wants the fame for having an "all small" family or she doesn't. She can't eat her cake and have it too!! Very offensive. Will never watch this show and will never recommend it to anyone. LOVE the Roloffs and Bill Klein and Jenn Arnold and Will and Zoey. Can't get enough of those guys.

A colossal waste of time

This program is the pits! The family here is not likable & they're unable to make me 'care' about them. The parents as well as the children are totally annoying because the words/phrases/sentences they use are COMPLETELY scripted & annoying. This family will get on your last nerve!!! Although I like many of TLC's offerings, this one's unbearable. Even 'Here Comes Honey Boo Boo' was better than this!!! *Spoiler Alert*. This has already been on the trailer tonight so it may not technically be considered a spoiler but I'll treat it as such nonetheless.PLEASE don't WATCH this pablum because it's an insult to all our collective intelligence. Can't believe the network is making the Roloffs host this family next week! Come on, TLC, get with it! Surely you peeps can do better than this. Even if you only broadcast the test pattern , it would be a great improvement!

I really enjoy Little People Big World and the Little Couple. Tuned in to see Our Little Family. It really lacks any thing of interest. First the Mom is very happy to talk non stop about being "little"..but when some one takes notice of it and wants to get a picture of the family ..she is screaming "NO PICTURES". Really? I would think they might like being noticed from the show and also reality is that she can not demand through out their lives that no one takes a picture , especially if they are recognized from TV. Also they are being FILMED for a program, but an individual can not take a photo. I think they will only have about 15 minutes of fame. Is there any one else out there besides me that wonders if the kids ..especially Jack who is six is receiving any speech therapy? All three children have big speech impediments. The show as a whole is hard to listen to and not entertaining. Mom is not likable and the husband is whipped. It is SO scripted that it is very boring. I won't tune in again.

I have been watching little people shows for many years. We love the Roloffs and Arnold-Klein families! So it's not that I have anything against little people. The first time watching, I couldn't get passed the first 10 minutes of the episode. I was so put off by the mom of this household. I was outraged by the way she spoke to her husband! It was crazy disrespectful! It sounded like she would've been talking to her small children. I have a toddler myself and there's definitely a way I speak to my child and a very different way I communicate with my husband! The two should not sound the same!! Especially not while disciplining. After I turned the episode off, I started looking up reviews to see what others thought of this family. Obviously I'm catching old reruns of the show. I didn't know about it during its original run. I read about Michelle and her freak out at the Lincoln Memorial. I was curious to see that. I read Michelle's "excuse" for her telling people not to take pictures. The excuse she gave was no pictures were allowed to be taken at the memorial so she was so politely letting people know that taking pictures was against the rules. Knowing this ahead of time, I watched the episode extra careful! She flat out tells Dan she doesn't want strangers taking pictures of their kids. It had nothing to do with a rule people were breaking. Your family is all little and you have your own tv show because of it, meaning you're different. Not to mention the camera crew following y'all. Come on! You're asking for attention! You can't have it both ways. I will agree, it's not the most polite thing for people to do but you've put your family in the spotlight. That's an inevitable consequence. Since then I've caught a few other parts of a couple episodes. Once again, the way she spoke to her husband when he and the kids were trying to practice their putting was disrespectful! She spoke to him no differently than when she's fussing at her children. It made me cringe!! In the little bits I've watched, I'm more annoyed by the mom than anything. There's also no on screen chemistry between the couple. They give off a very awkward vibe that's uncomfortable! Their kids also seem to be very whiny and cry a lot! At least in the parts I've seen! I just find this show to be irritating on all fronts! I've never left a review on imdb. That's how much I dislike this show. I'm so glad it was cancelled! I'm not sure why TLC re-airs episodes at 4-6am some mornings. Those are the mornings I definitely shut the tv off and go to sleep! It would be awesome if they would air old episodes of Little People Big World.. a show that is still airing new episodes! Just my opinion!!

Horrible show

No spoilers here - accept that anyone who hasn't seen this show yet is now going to know how awful it is.I have tried to watch this show and couldn't get through the first episode. Not likable at all.I wish I could give it a negative score honestly but, it is not an option. All of the other little families I have liked just not this one. I don't want the show to return because it needs to be replaced. There are so many diverse families that could be featured but this family is on - it's insulting. Why doesn't TLC bring back Jen and Bill or try a different theme than only little people. And, to the reviewer who claimed it was a great show and not scripted - Well, I'm sorry but your review is as fake and scripted as the show seems to be.
