Donna ....please...

If one day, any actor needs a superb acting powerhouse on how to artistically choke on his own tears, should definitely check with Gabriel Macht......

End of this Episode (Season) was too much....

That's what I'm talking about

Finally an episode that blew my mind again. I know a lot of people aren't into the Harvey-Donna thing, but this is taking a very interesting turn. In this episode we also get to see some thing that went on in the past and they were really interesting to watch. Although the pace in this episode wasn't astonishing, it had me at the tip of my seat. The balance between drama and excitement was just right. For the first time since "Enough is Enough" the end left me gasping because of an unexpected twist caused by a bad-ass move. In my opinion, this was a worthy season final.

Season 4 has now come to it's conclusion. For me, it was the best season yet and it really has set the stakes high for season 5. For now, I have to figure out a way to fill up the gap, because there's nothing to look forward to every week until next summer. Oh well, at least the next Game of Thrones season is only a month away.

Awesome Season Finale
rickvam5 October 2015
Warning: Spoilers
This episode was really amazing for many reasons:-

It has peaks into past lives of Donna and Harvey. We get to know the true feelings of Louis for Norma

But for me, the icing on the cake was the last scene where Donna says "I love you", to Harvey. The pain Harvey must have felt was same what Donna had suffered when he said "I Love You" to her in middle of the episode.

I don't understand how can he handle himself after going through all this day in and day out. He may need counseling of some sort to keep him sane.

I am eager to see the chemistry between Louis and Donna in next season.

Talk about explosive...

To describe this episode as anything less than an emotional roller coaster would be doing it a disservice. This finale had its share of 'damn!' and 'ah HA' moments. One thing, of many, this show does well is seamlessly dip into the past, when appropriate, to explain the present. These types of scenes are more-so used as 'fillers' in other series. Yet in this one, they're as enjoyable as the present-day scenarios. They fill the gaps that were intelligently (and perhaps intentionally) left out the first time around. Let's face it, if other viewers are anything like me, they don't want to know the full story upfront either. That's one reason some people didn't get shows like "Breaking Bad".

I can't even imagine what the writers have planned for season 5. Well, maybe a little... but my speculations would require me to click the "Contains spoiler" above, and I won't do that. 9.7/10.

Season 4 Review

Warning: Spoilers
Jedi becomes master in season four: a new arena with even bigger egos. Mike vs Harvey, the firm vs Cahill , and the collateral damage left in the wake of the epic battle.

Another incredible season tailored to fit, strut, & flex its well-writ muscle. A worthy binge-watch from intro to epilogue.

great closer for a wobbly season

About a century ago, as people become accustomed to such new-fangled gadgets as the coin-operated vending machine, cons and rubes alike discovered a flaw in the original design -- you could insert a coin attached to a string with bubble gum, trigger the mechanism, and still get your coin back.

Look, SUITS is a hi-class hit and I am a big fan. But in Season 4 for the first time I felt the writers were using that old coin trick with the bubblegum and string.

The core idea of building a major primetime law show based on a lawyer who never wrote the bar or went to law school is ... brilliant.

But to have to bring back this same story so many times in a single season as a "plot trigger" is a Guiness Record that the writers should not need or want.

Great close to the season -- a sweet and fun and well-written episode.

Great Back and Forth
Hitchcoc24 August 2023
As Harvey goes after Forstman in order to help Cahill, we dip into the past to see where Forstman first appeared. We are also introduced to Donna as she appeared the first time she and Harvey made their pact. This is another wonderful effort to show how you can use a person's strengths to draw them out. With Forstman, we find out that he took advantage of Harvey, using Harvey's brother to his advantage. This eventually leads to a basic sting. The other part of the episode involves the previousl episode where Harvey told Donna he loved her. Donna has been waiting forever to get some real love from him. She gets the admiration from Louis. By the way, there is a great bit here involving an unlikable secretary who dies. This is choice.

a sensation to watch
hmfarsani2 May 2016
So! Long story short (as I have a habit of making short stories long), the final few I-love-you-Donna Harvey moments of the penultimate episode to the 4th season of Suits hooked me so hard that I looked impatiently forward to watching the season finale...

Oh man! Those few I-love-you minutes of the previous episode poured into the whole of the finale and washed all the characters back into emotional waters, leaving behind no viewers either.

I mean, first off, it had been a long time since my eyes had forgotten tears gathering in there blurring my supposed 20/20 vision on how life mattered...

What is more, I just learned I knew damn nothing about love, what I boasted myself for years to have been especially endowed and privileged with!

What a revolutionary personal revelation thanks to Suits season 4 finale... :/

Solid ending for a not so good season
tarascopablo27 December 2023
Warning: Spoilers
Suits began strong and solid and some seasons were better than others, IMO season 4 was a bit weak and explored too many things way too fast and solved itself in almost a ridiculous manner.

Eric Roberts was a solid villain and the whole new dynamic with Louis was interesting to explore as well as Harvey and Donna being in troubles.

Mike and Rachel seem to have grown a lot and Jessica seems more a leader than ever.

This season was the weakest of the series so far but final two episodes are good and bring the season to a good rating overall.

The main issue to me was that the arc felt way too long.

CHEESY BS CLOSURE
Essay-Kun8 June 2021
Warning: Spoilers
Okay this was the weakest episode of the season.

Not the Louis part or the Harvey-Donna part but Mike and Rachel's part felt so fake.

Totally rushed.

~ On the good part, Harvey and Donna.

You can't make people stay that way Harvey. Either you tell her you want her or you don't.

Since you crossed the line, you got her on the toes you can't expect her to sit down again with you.

It's time for her to walk om, now it's either with you or with someone else like Louis.

From good drama to soap opera: transformation complete
nicktheod6 March 2015
Warning: Spoilers
Bad, bad, bad.

This episode concluded the worst season of suits. Where do I start? That the big season finale was a proposal? Really? The relationship between Mike and Rachel is like the writers ask their 5 yo kids "what do you want this couple to do now?" and they just write what they tell them. Bad dialogue overall.

And then there was Donna. Oh Donna. The last episodes of the season were about her being in danger for giving inadmissible material to Mike. Even though she knew it, Mike knew it, everyone knew it, they still used the material and guess what? she got in trouble! No kidding Sherlock!

Finally, Malone and Jessica This is what it takes to break them up? They went from "I love you more than pizza" to "you betrayed me like what Cain did to Abel". Again, bad dialogue. They just wanted to show that Jessica has feelings and is not a sociopath.

I guess that my biggest problem with this show is how much it changed. It used to be about smart lawyers outsmarting other smart lawyers. Now it's like a teen drama show. Person A is angry with Person B until Person C interferes.

All in all, a bad episode to a bad season. You are better that this Suits!
