Episode 3.16 This episode seems to have put elementary back on track. Hopefully the writers can gear down to really interesting mystery stories and minimize the soap opera. Primarily focusing on how Holmes, Watson, Bell, and Gregson work together to solve murders and solve crimes. By the way I need to show the definition of soap opera. "British Dictionary definitions for soap opera Noun 1. a serialized drama, usually dealing with domestic themes and characterized by sentimentality. Metaphorical Example.

Real-life situation resembling one that might occur in a soap opera, as in She just goes on and on about her various medical and family problems, one long soap opera."

One thing I have learned to avoid in life is close relationships with people whose life is one long soap opera. For similar reasons I do not like to bond with a television series that has a long soap opera element even as a side or filler story. By the third year it becomes trite and tiresome.

One downside of this episode is that the Detectives who suspected Holmes of murder provided quite a lot of information about Holmes and Watts to the victims family. In my career in law enforcement, Holmes "beat up" is a example for the reasons that law enforcement do not provide detail information to victims or their families on their suspects.

The real upside is that Watson demonstrated her trust and loyalty to Holmes as he has demonstrated to her. The partnership and friendship bond appear solid.

Otherwise it was a great show and I my hope for my future enjoyment will be continually fulfilled. I hope to see season 10.
