Based on the roles he had played previously there was some surprise when this modern 'Odd Couple' was announced that Matthew Perry was playing Oscar and not Felix.
However, despite Perry saying in interviews that he was more of a Felix in real life, and the writers putting in lots of references to Oscar's womanising and drinking by this 11th episode even though I'm a massive Perry fan I'm still a little sceptical about the casting.
This, much like the last episode has Perry and Thomas Lennon (great as ever as Felix) head up two separate story lines, and again Perry's is the lesser one.
There is lots of fun in the Felix story line though, and we see the slow build in his relationship with Emily, played beautifully by Lindsay Sloane.
A fun episode overall.
