If you want to be depressed
mcrooks4614 January 2018
If you have the blues don't watch this movie as you'll be even more depressed. He is in mourning, we get it. However, for an hour and 15 minutes, he's grieving. The last four minutes, he's a changed man. Hooray! If you want to see parts of Ireland, then watch the movie. If you have the blues, pick another movie, for goodness sakes.

Absolute masterpiece

This film was recommended to me by a work colleague Arron Duffy who is a massive Alan Devine fan and I have to say it did not disappoint. The setting, acting and theme were very well put together and the plot was gripping. I have to say I loved the boat scene and the views of the west of Ireland. Alan Devine was superb in his role as Sean and all round this was a "gift" of a film.

Masterclass

Simply put this is a master class in film making, honestly one of the best new dramas to come out of Ireland in a long time. The multiple plots blend together so seamlessly, the never ending suicide attempts, the boat dilemma and the classroom plot (which in my opinion should've been in more depth but you cant have everything!). Lets not forget to mention the award winning cast specifically Alan Devine, who portrays his character with a level of gravitas I never thought possible by a actor up until now, hats off to you Alan!
