It was a great episode with Stefan and Damon's mother appearing and kai and bonnie, I liked the winter look of the 1903 prison world it looks super awesome.

Caroline is at the campus bar cleaning up after the rave. She is still wearing her hair and outfit from the party and looks amazing. She has a black bra on under a white top. Enzo comes in and Caroline shows frustration because he stepped where she just cleaned. Enzo apologies and calls her Cinderella.
Jo likes the idea of the name Duke for the baby.
Enzo comes to Alaric for weapons to get Stefan and Caroline into a cell now that they have turned off their emotions. Enzo makes a joke that he has to lay off the alcohol once breastfeeding.
Stefan hears them and manages to pull Caroline away. Caroline and Stefan line Enzo and Alaric up on the floor as they are passed out and Stefan goes to feed on the sports girl in her room. He looks hot sucking on her neck for blood. Caroline gives in to feeding on her after Stefan tempts her too much. They then have sex.
Damon, Elena, Kai and Bonnie go off to the 1903 prison world to retrieve Damon's mother. Elena asks if this is appropriate for 1903 and she is referring to her outfit. She is wearing a coat and has curled hair. Off they go to 1903 with Damon and Elena looking for Lillian while Kai and Bonnie look for the Ascendant. Damon and Elena go to his childhood home and a woman's voice says Damon's name. It is the mother. They sit and discuss what is going on. Damon wants mom to help trigger Stefan's humanity. Elena is confused on why the Ascendant is in the home. She thought Bonnie was looking for it and she is not here. Damon replies she actually isn't looking for the Ascendant.
Bonnie stabs Kai. Before she can give the final stab he disappears. The Aurora Borealis is showing its lights which means its time to go. Lillian wants to take her vampire friends but Damon says next time. If she doesn't go alone he will leave her here. They go together to the present world. Damon's mother looks at a computer for the first time. She then explains to Damon her absence. She couldn't stay with them because after going to see Stefan she can smell the blood. Stefan mentioned he saw his mother as an angel - it was actually her visiting as a vampire.
