Introduction Bionicle was a Toy series that had an original run of 2001 or 2000 in some areas to 2010 after it was revamped in 2015 with a completely new storyline. So these web animations start with the legend which was first seen in SDCC 2014, and talked about 2 major characters Ekimu the Mask Maker and Makuta the Mask Maker. So Makuta became jealous of his brothers success much like Mata Nui and Makuta teridax and he decided to make a special mask appropriately dubbed " The Mask of Ultimate Power" and it drove him nuts nearly destroying the entire island in the Process so after a very brief battle Ekimu is KOed and with that the story of Bionicle Gen 2 truly begins.

Season 1: Season One of the official web animations follows Tahu The Master of Fire Shortly after he lands at okoto, he meets his protector Narmoto and the 2 begin their journey to find the golden Fire mask of power. So this First season is Heavily narrator involved especially in the earliest episodes no real voice acting outside of Tahu and Narmoto happens until Tahu gets his golden mask and hears the voice of Ekimu calling to him and the other toa so he bids farewell to Narmoto and sets off for the city and thats where things get crazy. he meets the other toa and to his luck they meet the watchdog of the city known as the Lord of Skull Spiders a reoccurring villain throughout the season. Overall this one was OK but story wise you would need to read the books to understand what you are about to get in to.

Season 2: So Season 2 Takes place moments after Season 1 in which case the LOSS has been defeated, Not really a shocker, and the toa begin their journey into the City of The Mask Makers, fight some villains, Awaken Ekimu from his tomb and then proceed to get yelled at for being late and take on a super Villain known as the skull grinder, he was tasked with destroying the mask in the forge. So this bunch was not as long as season 1 however the pacing is much better story wise and there is more to this story compared to earlier on but the animation looks like something out of flash, the voicing is all by one person, impressive but awkward. overall this is a proper way to start and transition. This is also a much understood nostalgia trip for old fans with the Mask of Time being a plot point from the books and appearing in the animations. Also a proper start for new fans who are not aware of the old Lore but it still left a lot to be desired
