Worst Episode of the series
Wadenx24 May 2016
Warning: Spoilers
This series was increasingly getting better, but it plummeted down a chasm with this episode. The return of Fish was horrible, and seemed like more of a nod to Smith's ego. The dialogue and acting was weak and cheesy. The special effects with the creation of Jim Gordon's double was horrible. Besides the obvious skull cap to make him look bald that could be equaled to a low production play, they brought out a wig that looked nothing like his hair and then magically it looked real and natural. The strange overacting by Hugo Strange was annoying. It was all around a complete disappointment to a series that had shone itself to be potentially excellent.

I have lost all hopes of Gotham; pattern of recycling character and Lingering
cliang-4545418 May 2016
I saw the pattern when galavan was reborn, fish Mooney came back the second time and third, Barbara comes back again. It seems like Gotham is just RECYCLING CHARACTERS. I can only assume that Jerome will come back and become like joker and etc. The writers do not know what they are doing or writing. For example, Galavan as Azrael was bulletproof in the precinct but then Jim Gordon was able to shoot him in the back and chest outside Wayne manor (What the hell happen) and then penguin blew him up with a rocket launcher (uhh, think of a better way to end that story line). They build a story but ends it so poorly. I knew something was going wrong when I began to like everyone but the main characters because of there dull and similar acting. I even like Alfred more than Bruce. Jim Gordon's character seems like a man with too much testosterone with a deep tone angry voice that continues scene after scene, take a Prozac or something. Enigma is fun, Penguin is fun, Harvey bullock is alright, Alfred was alright, Dr. Hugo is fun, but the rest are just borderline and bad. Another thing was how the writer try to escalate a scene by dramatizing the conversation but the conclusion is so weak therefore defeating the whole purpose. I had lost all hopes after Fish Moony coming back again. I mean Azrael was fun and all but it took them 2 weeks to write that and it ended horribly after the second week. If I wasn't such a Batman fan, I will had stop watching this after Jerome because the whole 3/4 of the second season seems pointless. Especially Mr. Freeze, he was such a joke.

People say it is because of Moony and penguin that enable Gotham to continue to season 2 but what are they smoking or drinking while watching this, Penguin maybe. The reason there is a season 2 probably because it owes it to the success of the name of the show and the connection it had with the ORIGINAL CREATOR of Gotham and Batman. Please, it is certainly not the acting or the character of Mooney. Certainly if this show is not called Gotham or had any connection with DC comics, I doubt there will be much viewer. For example if this show is call supervillian or some cop show name, the rating and viewer will drop dramatically. It is the name of the show in which it is based on that caught the attention and enables it to continue. It is also funny that the 3 times she comes back her acting is still the same. If they went through the trouble to bring her back at least change something. Like barbara each time she comes back she turns into a dumber blond or a dumber blond with a loony attitude that should had been remove a long time ago.
