I really enjoyed this episode. After 12 episodes, I was hoping the season will progress further to the more deeper moments in the story. This episode to me really delivers that.
I didn't mind Kai's character as a psychotic antagonist, but if the show didn't handle the character the way they handled him in this episode, I would've been close to annoyed at Kai for always getting away from his actions. I'm glad the audience got to see a side of Kai where he finally feels some sense of guilt or emotion all thanks to merging with Luke. Also, I'm more glad to see Chris Wood, the actor portraying Kai, to show his dramatic acting besides playing the role of a psycho. I never saw any of Chris Wood's acting roles prior to this season.
Liv's actions in this episode fits well in this episode. It makes so much sense for her to take revenge on her brother's murderer.
The climax with Jeremy & Bonnie was the best part of the episode.
