For a penultimate episode it wasn't that great. There was a lot of enjoyable action sequences, but this is usually the episode where things go off the rails in the solo Netflix series and they wasted no time doing that here. Elektra's character hasn't made a lick of sense and she's undergone a dozen alliance shifts in a few episodes, but as long as she goes back to normal at the end I am fine with it.

Episode Seven - Novato na Cadeia
I confess that the flashback at the beginning of the episode between Stick and Elektra Doritos ops Natchios made me think that it was a plan between the two of them to defeat Tentaculos and that Stick was alive, but I was wrong, apparently the flashback is from before Elektra's death.
It's a fact that Madam Gao is the strongest of the Tentacles, right?
It took two against her, while the other two fought together against DareDevil.
Murdock's uniform is really beautiful, but I'm biased in my opinion because red and black are my favorite colors.
Is this miniseries a contest to see which superhero is dumber?
It was obvious that Elektra only activated Iron Fist's Chi (or Tchi?) just so she could dodge and hit the wall.

Sadly, none of the characters have gotten any smarter or achieved any sort of development thus far, and there's only one more episode...
And I've put off asking. but...WTH is up with Elektra? All of the characters, actually...their power levels fluctuate so randomly it's pathetic. In one fight, Danny's Iron Fist is amazing as are his martial arts; in another Luke is able to take a full-on face-punch from the Iron Fist...I'm not even sure *what* Jessica's powers are supposed to be since she never appears to use them.
In other episodes, Elektra is fought to a standstill, and in another she takes out the whole team. Danny is stupid and goes against what he just said literally ten seconds back...
Dramatic tension is one thing; this is something way different.

Live Reaction / Review for The Defenders Episode 07: The sixth episode was awful and I gave it a rating of 4.5/10. I hope this episode is somewhat decent but I don't have any expectations, the show has been very bad so far, a disjointed mess. There are 2 episodes left and the team is not even together (later they are). 20 minutes in, already boring. No real drama, no thrills, no mystery, no action, no nothing. I hope the rest of the episode will prove me wrong. Did they leave the police station like they are criminals or something? What a dumb decision. The old lady has superpowers? Lol cool. Some cool fight scenes towards the end, plus some thrills. The second half of the episode is better but still mediocre overall. My rating is 6.0/10.

This was okay, but I was expecting a little more for a penultimate episode. Just the guys getting ready for a big showdown in the climax. Not bad, quite watchable, but maybe without the gravitas I was hoping for. And the fight choreography at the climax is really messed up.
