Talk to and about the Hand

Good fight scene to start with. Then something of a bridging episode as the villains talk about their plans and start to bicker a little.

The heroes talk about the villains and dither as to what to do.

Still good but I am bored with the Hand! And since death doesn't seem to be an obstacle for some of them, where's the threat? A good scene with the supporting characters all in the same room. And thankfully Stick knows how to take direct action. Maybe they should just let him finish them off himself.

Hopefully will gain momentum in the last three parts.

It's good Episode make a lot thinks clear and understood.

In the same time make me sure that Colleen is the best character and she's so emotional and deserve a better than that.

Episode Five - Em Busca de Abrigo

One of the Tentacles lost his head, literally.

I still think Jessica Jones is the best character in this series.

It was very interesting to see the interaction between the supporting characters from the four series, from what I noticed even the supporting characters from the Jessica Jones and Daredevil series are superior to those from Luke Cage and Iron Fist, even though I preferred Coleen to the police officer, who knows Luke Cage.

This Madame Gao scares me a lot, she appears to be a fragile little lady, but in combat it is better to run than to attack her, she is the one I would be most afraid of out of these five.

Episode five of the first season of the Miniseries Os Defensores watched on May 3, 2024.

Rating: 9/10.

The meeting in the Chinese restaurant did not really live up to the hype. Jessica Jones' zingers are still on point, but the show is missing out on an immediate impact. We went from the danger of the tremor or earthquake or whatever it was, to only a killer Elektra/Black Sky on the loose.

I'm not a big Daredevil fan, but I kind of wish their supporting characters were featured more prominently here. Deborah Ann Woll has barely appeared to this point.

A solid episode

Still pretty solid at this point, starting off with some large-scale brawling before moving into individual character beats. It feels a bit like every character is shoehorned into this episode but no worries there.

Live Reaction / Review for The Defenders Episode 05: The fourth episode was bad and I gave it a rating of 5.5/10. I hope this episode is decent at least. They are still at this guy's restaurant? Damn I forgot. I though Cage is strong but he gets a beating by this guy? At least now we have an all out war it seems, which is good. Still the problem remains, the main villain is a dying woman and her superpower is talking and the other villain is Elektra, an underweight woman who is like the ''best fighter in the world''. These two are not intimidating at all, makes the whole show look bad. Why do we spend time watching this woman meet her sensei or whatever? Is she important to the story? I don't get it. Ive had 3-4 breaks while watching. This show is mostly trash, the only reason im watching is because after that ill watch Daredevil season 3. Wow this was absolute torture, awful episode in every way. My rating is 4/10.
