The Mediocre Salesman with Power

Eichhorstt tortures Dutch in a room of the Mayfield Hotel. He recalls his relationship in 1931 with his coworker Helga when he was a mediocre salesman. Meanwhile Gus helps Aanya and her family to go to a secure area and Angel decides to stay with him. Vet, Eph and Nora try to find Dutch in a closed wing of the hotel. Setrakian confronts Fonescu and is left tied to a chair.

"Dead End" is another great episode of "The Strain". The 1931 segment shows the danger to give power to mediocre people and is excellent. The sick Eichhorstt torturing Dutch is gloomy is this creepy episode. My vote is nine.

Reaction / Review for The Strain Season 2 Episode 11 ''Dead End'' (S2. E11): Episode 10 was amazing and I gave it a rating of 9/10. It's fascinating to watch young Eichorst. Nice to see Gus, where is Quinlan though? Angel wants to stay with Gus and fight, that's cool. The way that Eichorst lost the woman he loved is a bit tragic, I kinda feel bad for him. Poor Setrakian, he almost had the Lumen. And I thought Dutch would escape without the help of the others. Wow young Eichorst lied about that woman and then they killed her, that's so brutal. Dutch seems to be very traumatized. Fonescu really thinks that it's a good idea to try and sell the Lumen to Creem? Overall an amazing episode, my rating is 9/10.
