The reason I didn't rate this programme more highly is because of the flat, boring, dull narration.
Paul McGann (the narrator) needs some diction lessons. In particular, he needs some pointers on how to enunciate consonants and syllables.
At times his narration was almost inaudible (there is nothing wrong with my hearing - I'm a piano tuner!). His poor narration made what should have been a really interesting programme dull and boring.
Goodness knows where they get these turkeys - when they could have chosen narrators like Sir Tony Robinson or even Australia's William McGuinness!!!
At this point I'm trying to full up the space because the dingbats think it meet and proper the review have at least six hundred characters!!!
