That was a magnificent and sadly short episode, (possibly one of the shortest on the show).
After Walker's last flame aftermath (I ain't enough of saying how good Dillahunt was in this show), the explosion is finally set, everything is on the line for all the characters involved, from the main star Raylan Givens to a co-star like Mikey, everything is on the line.
We got to see some phenomenal performances tonight, specially from Walton Goggins and the beautiful Kaitlyn Dever, we can all see that the McCready blood is still there, but she learned a lot from the Bennetts (Mags specially), that speech at the portal is something I ain't never seen a young actress pulling off the way she did.
the quick-draw jackass who don't know John Wayne is quite a good addition as a character, but maybe with the wrong actor playing the part, I've never seeing something from Tucker before, he might be a good psycho weirdo that the part may require, but I'm pretty sure Ty Walker or maybe a returning from jail Quarles could pull it better (something I've read on the forums, how explosive would it be if Quarles actually got a chance of keeping "the promise" he made for Raylan?).
Overall, once again we saw some amazing survival skills from Boyd, but it's like they say, the third time is the charm, and I don't think he'll escape from his fate, Ava and Duffy are possibly goners (maybe they even get it from Markham and Katherine simultaneously) and I'm still not so sure about Raylan, Boon seems like an underdog but the way they're portraying it will probably give Raylan some damage.
Top notch episode from Justified, just as good as Decoy, Bloody Harlan or Bulletville, even with a smooth ride, I never got so anxious to see what happens next since watching Lost and the Shield (something I've mentioned on the review of Fate's Right Hand).
MVP's:
Boyd Crowder (Walton Goggins).
Loretta McCready-Bennett (Kaitlyn Dever).
Raylan Givens (Timothy Olyphant).
