Sex & Nudity

  • Two teens have sex in a large storage container.
  • There is a sex scene between the sister of one of the main characters and her boss's husband. He starts undressing her, and they start making out. She is in lingerie. Part of the side of her breast becomes visible. Then, as the camera shifts angles, it shows that she is having a threesome with her boss and his wife (who is viewing the sexual interaction). It can be uncomfortable to watch for some people.
  • There is a scene where some prisoners are being sent to the factory. They are told to take off all their clothes. You then see them for the rest of the scene fully naked but covering any private parts with their arms and hands.

Violence & Gore

  • Big pile of dead bodies with blood pools in episode 2. Something like a Nazi genocide scene.
  • There is violence throughout. People being shot and blood spattering. People being blown up. People being beaten. People being vaporized.

Profanity

  • Uses of god damn it and Jesus used infrequently.
  • Two uses of the f word in season 1 and infrequent uses of son of a bitch and bullshit.

Alcohol, Drugs & Smoking

Frightening & Intense Scenes

  • Frightening themes of end of the world

Frightening & Intense Scenes

  • Children are separated from their family.
  • The scene where the aliens get in contact with Snyder can be frightening for younger viewers or people suffering from alienophobia, altough the scene is not graphic and the alien is portrayed as a machine.
  • Charlie's death can be upsetting.
