A charming series!
bethanhunter10 May 2016
'Millie Inbetween' is an utterly delightful drama series that revolves around life of thirteen year old Millie McDonald and her older sister Lauren, who, after the recent separation of their parents, now have to deal with the looming prospect of being part of a blended family, when both parents subsequently get new partners (both with children!). This coming-of-age drama pushes the boundaries of children's television, depicting a very real illustration of modern family life and the struggles they can face. The story lines are often lighthearted affairs providing some good laughs and gentle life lessons for younger viewers but when the series subtly shows it's character's relatable emotional struggles- that's when it's truly shines. 8/10 Both children and adults alike will enjoy this engaging drama series!

Amazing show- should've stopped after S3

Warning: Spoilers
I love this show. It really explores what it's like for kids after after their parent's have had a divorce. Series 2 is BY FAR the best with great story lines (like Lauren doing the highland challenge).

However, when I watched series 4, it didn't feel like Millie Inbetween. The cast was pretty much the same although Craig did move out and Tony and Amber moved to Spain so Fran and Jake are being looked after by their 'Franma'. Since that all changed the stories were focused more on School (like the talent show in S4 Ep6) rather than at home. To be Honest, I thought that they should've ended it after Series 3 since it was a good place to leave it (Mike and Shannon getting married and baby Hector being born)

Nevertheless, this is a fantastic show that you should definitely consider binge watching

Only entertaining for so long

I won't lie, back in 2014 when this show first came about, I liked it. I knew of Millie Innes and Theo Stevenson before from previous shows and movies, and were fans of them. However after two seasons, as I was growing up, I kinda stopped liking the show. There are some shows which even as a teenager can hold your attention, and I'm afraid that Millie Inbetween just wasn't one of those
