The producer partly funded this film on Kickstarter. However he failed to fulfil his promises to the supporters even after the film has been released. So many of these supporters are calling this a scam.
For every day of shooting, actress Ana Sofia Leite had to go through five hours of make-up.
The project got financed based on the producer's pitch.
The production team decided to shoot the film at night because the area in Lisbon where two thirds of the film was shot posed several problems for the sound department. There was construction noise all day long coming from nearby buildings, there was construction going on at the palace where the film was being shot and on top of it all, Lisbon's biggest flee market (called "Feira da Ladra") took place on Saturdays and Tuesdays on the same area.
The 3D printers used on the film were provided by a Portuguese maker of 3D printing technology that was thrilled to have their products on a horror film after listening the producer's pitch.
