- Tess Vargas: [at police station] What are you *doing* here? Aunts, train station, any of this ring a bell?
- Catherine Chandler: Heather's picking them up.
- Tess Vargas: So I scheduled you for two days off *why* exactly?
- Catherine Chandler: I know, I know, and I appreciate it.
- Tess Vargas: [with laughter in her voice] All right, then scram! Hug your aunts, hang crepe paper. I'll see you at the shower. Hey, should I bring a karaoke machine?
- Catherine Chandler: Actually, Heather's plan is more high tea at the palace. And she's even making cucumber sandwiches.
- Tess Vargas: So, what? I got to, like, wear a hat?
- Catherine Chandler: I just wanna check up on Bob and Carol one more time.
- Tess Vargas: Why? We've been over this. What do you think you're gonna find?
- Catherine Chandler: Hopefully something that gives me a clue as to who hired them. I think maybe we missed something. Do not give me that look, Tess. I cannot justify going for tea with my Mom's sisters when somebody's hunting Vincent.
- Tess Vargas: They're not hunting Vincent. They're hunting beasts. They don't even know that he is one. So you're gonna have to come up with a better excuse...
- [her cellphone rings]
- Heather Chandler: [had been holding the fort with their two old aunts, relieved to hear Cat on cellphone] Catherine! Hi! I've been waiting for you.
- [whispers:]
- Heather Chandler: Where the hell are you?
- Catherine Chandler: I'm in the hallway and I don't wanna come in right now. Can you handle things for a little bit longer?
- Heather Chandler: What?
- [glances back at her two tea-drinking aunts]
- Heather Chandler: No! Look, I don't know what your issue is, Cat, but they're here to see you, so you better get in here and deal with them,
- [softly threatening:]
- Heather Chandler: or I swear I will tell them you're engaged to a *beast*.
- Catherine Chandler: You wouldn't!
- Heather Chandler: Although I think Aunt Lily would find it sexy.
- [moves forward to the door]
- Heather Chandler: Ask me how I know.
- [yanks open door, there stands Catherine, cellphone to ear]
- Heather Chandler: Oh, look, here's Cat now!
- [drags her in, shoves her towards their two aunts]
- Catherine Chandler: HI! Sorry I'm late!
- Aunt Claire: [likening Catherine to her mother] Apples don't fall far from the tree.
- Catherine Chandler: Hmm. Sometimes they do. Depends on the slope.
- Officer Darla: ['policewoman' stripper does lapdance] It's all covered, sweetie. You're calling the shots.
