The Pool Hustlers
claudio_carvalho29 December 2023
A man raises from a grave during the night and crawls to the highway asking for help, but a driver hits him. Greg and Nick arrive at the crime scene and follow the blood trail, reaching the shallow grave where he was buried. Det. Crawford interviews Mary Haymond, the driver who hit the man, and she tells him that she did not see him on the road. Nick and Greg collect evidence in the grave to be processed later while Finn identifies the man as Jimmy Turelli, who recently left the prison, and was a con artist and pool hustler. Morgan connects Jimmy to a pool tournament in the Palermo. The coordinator Elise Massey says that Jimmy paid the application of the player Natalie "The Hornet" Barrow, and Greg and Morgan see that the woman has a hornet-shaped bridge similar to the wound that Jimmy has on his cheek. However, Natalie explains that she sells that shape of bridge to fans. Soon Sara and Morgan go to the Vegas Rails billiard club and find the primary crime scene.

"Dead Rails" is a reasonable episode of "CSI", with the story based on two pool hustlers. The plot is a little confusing, but it is worthwhile watching Elisabeth Harnois, who is a wonderful singer, playing pool. In the end, Jimmy Turelli died twice in the show. My vote is seven.

Hustle Me This
Hitchcoc5 April 2021
A man assumed buried alive, crawls out of a hole in the desert. He tries to flag down a car and is run down. It turns out he was a top pool hustler in Vegas and that someone is responsible for his death. This episode takes us into the world of pool hustling. This is more than small time encounters with two guys. It gets to some pretty sophisticated money games. A decent episode but a little confusing in its direction.
