This is the seventh episode of the first season of 12 Monkeys, and quite frankly this may be the best episode of the series so far. Not only is the entertainment factor is quite high, but there is a lot that happens in this episode as we learn about the characters as the stakes are raised higher, especially when terrorism enters the fold.
In this episode, "The Keys," Cole and Railly interrogate an archaeologist to learn more artifacts linked to the Army. They also discover that the CIA will use the plague to wipe out a terrorist named Adam Wexler, currently hiding out in Chechnya. Cole heads over to the country to get the virus, but he finds himself in more trouble than he bargained for.
Overall, this was quite an episode. It's action-packed and has a couple soft moments. I was very surprised by the ending, and it made me curious to see how on earth the next episode could take place.
My Grade: A.
