This is the sixth episode of the first season of 12 Monkeys. This was a very interesting episode that has a lot going on, and it's one of the more action-packed episodes so far. The alternate reality that we saw at the end of last episode opened up some questions especially when it comes to leadership (stay tuned for an unexpected leader.)
In this episode, "The Red Forest," James Cole discovers that the future has been changed, with West VII taking over the lab and Ramses in charge with Jones not knowing who James is. But James is able to convince them to send him back to 2015 where he plans to save Dr. Railly from the Pallid Man, but first he must kidnap Aaron Marker.
Overall, this was a fun episode to watch. I particularly enjoyed the hallucinogens that Railly suffered in an attempt to break her mind. The visuals were well-done in that regard. On the whole, a very interesting episode.
My Grade: A
