The film is collection of three films. Two of which lost funding in their early production stages.
S.T.A.R. Space Traveling Alien Reject, was the first film Director Adam R Steigert directed which included a car chase scene.
The concept of S.T.A.R. Space Traveling Alien Reject, was inspired after the director/ writer attended Disney World's Epcot Center, and went on the Michael Jackson Captain EO 4D theater experience.
The role of Alex Creed was originally written for actor Fred Williamson however when the original film went in pre-production funding was lost to secure the actor. It was later rewritten with Richard Satterwhite in mind for the role.
After the film was written the writers wanted to begin to connect more of the DefTone features together. Cameos were written for various actors, and hidden post credit scenes were written which the production team only permitted core crew members to be a part of. One of those unused post credit scenes featured Jason John Beebe reprise the role of Mark from Ombis: Alien Invasion. The connection segment which was written but never shot couldn't secure Jason for the cameo and an alternative ending was written featuring Chris Brechtel reprising the role of Mick from A Grim Becoming.
