Not the finest Christmas Episode,but Still Sweet and Funny,

I Won't Be Home for Christmas is a terrific Simpsons episode with a well written storyline and a ton of very funny scenes.For several seasons,Christmas episodes wasn't a common occurrence for the Simpsons,but over the past few years they have done one each season,I am happy about this and think they should definitely keep it up.This is certainly not the series finest Christmas episode,but it is still a fun and very sweet episode that gets you in to the mood for the holiday season.I liked that Moe played an important role in the episode and it was interesting seeing Marge and Homer in one of the biggest conflicts in their marriage to date.Filled with Christmas joy and lots of laughs,I Won't Be Home for Christmas is a very enjoyable Simpsons episode.

After getting a tad too Merry at Moe's on Christmas Eve,Marge tells Homer not to bother coming home.

Way Too Silly Plot, But Good Humor

I Won't Be Home for Christmas was an okay episode. I have watched 17 other Simpsons Christmas specials, and there were 2 bad, 3 okay, 4 good, and 9 really good. This episode falls in the okay category. I gotta admit, this episode has a really bad plot. But it just has some classic Christmas references that make up for a lot, but not everything. This episode still gets an okay for a bad plot with no heart. Even though this is an okay episode, this is a pretty good modern Simpsons Christmas episode. This is an okay Simpsons episode, that's what I think. In all, I give this a 6.9 out of 10. An okay episode.
