The four principle characters plus the adopted son are trapped on an elevator for a period of time. After Grace's panic attack has subsided, they begin to relive the past, when the men were trying to figure out a way to announce their intentions of leaving their wives to get married. It's another one of those places where there is no right time. Sol is incapable of inflicting even modest pain, let alone distancing himself from Frankie. They go back to when Mallory was close to giving birth and all the intensity around the house. Coyote is openly stoned on coke and is sharing marijuana with Mallory's husband (he doesn't touch the hard stuff). Once avoidance starts, it snowballs into hilarity. Grace has a significant realization. This gives us a little time perspective on events that follow.
