If you like the genre, I am sure this movie will not fail you. I am big fan of movies like coherence, triangle, predestination, interstellar, so I liked the movie. Is it the best of its kind? No. There are moments when you ask yourself why does the protagonist is doing some of the things he does. However, overall this is a totally watchable movie.

Wow. A new twist on time travel.

"Loop" is a Hungarian film that you must watch in its original language with sub-titles. It's very well paced, filmed, and acted, with some great editing. Long story short, a drug runner ends up with multiple opportunities to save his pregnant girlfriend from being hit by a car. But this isn't your typical time loop movie. There's a real twist here. The writers are brilliant in the way they present the "loop." I've never seen this before and it was refreshing and exciting. I was on the edge of my seat, trying to keep track of what the he** was happening and the ending was thrilling. Future and past take on new meanings. Big kudos to these filmmakers.
Style Over Substance

"Hurok" was almost closer to a video game than a feature film. The characters and situations were disagreeable, and the conceit of the film became routine and tired. It was not merely the characters who were on an endless time loop; the audience got stuck in the revolving door as well.
While Anna was likable primarily because she was carrying the baby, Adam was a lout and a loser. In the film's endless repetition of the same scene, there were some good locations and camera angles. But the logic of the situations made no sense, especially when Adam was confronting his "twin."
One of the best scenes in the film was the opening when Adam shows compassion for a beggar and gives him a large hunk of bread on the tram. The filmmakers sought a kind of symmetry by repeating the scene at the very end. But, like so much in this film, it made no sense when Adam was sitting alongside Anna on the tram.
There was an effective villain in the imposing figure of Dezso, but it was not enough to sustain interest. In other films of this ilk, such as "Run, Lola, Run," it was easy to follow a sympathetic character's race against the clock. In the case of "Hurok," it was all a matter of style over substance.

This movie is one of the best time-loop movies ever!
The characters, the story, the lead of the events are awesome!
Very hard to write of this story without spoilers, but trust me: this movie is one of best of it's kind. Really, it is worth to watch.
You don't have to understand the enviroment, the characters background, the political, economical, cultural background.
The only thing what you have to do, is enjoying a really tense and unique storyline.
The lead actor is really great, in every sigle angle. He deserves much more roles in every genre movies.
The director is an absolute pro, he could do much more, if he gets the background.
