Sex & Nudity

  • Batman is seen taking off his clothes and putting on his bathrobe.
  • A character in Joker's hideout is seen swinging on a pole for a few seconds in a slightly provocative way (until he falls on his head). It is in the background and will likely go unnoticed by many.
  • One character says that kids call him "Dick" to which Bruce Wayne responds "Well, children can be cruel." Many kids will think of this as a nickname
  • The film contains some instances of mildly-suggestive humor.
  • For example, a character is seen to rip his pants off after he finds it to be too tight.
  • References to Playboy.

Violence & Gore

  • Two-Face's left side is more disfigured than usually depicted; instead of being burned down to his epidermis layer, his face is burned down to the bone, so that his skull is visible. His flesh is also melted and dripping from the top of his head and it also drips down onto his arm and clothes.
  • The film contains some scenes of mild violence that depict Lego characters engaging in combat by throwing punches and kicks at each other as well as some depictions of explosions and property destruction.
  • Overall, the depiction of violence is mild and often humorous.

Profanity

  • Iron man sucks can be heard as a password. We can also hear it close to the end of the movie.
  • Batman's super secret backup password contains "butler" spelled with two T's in referencing Alfred, his butler.
  • Joker states that he is in "this heck-hole."
  • There are some utterances of very mild language in the film, such as the terms "sucks", "darn" and "butt". When Dick tells Bruce that his name is Richard, but all the kids at the orphanage call him Dick, Bruce responds with, "Well, children can be cruel."

Alcohol, Drugs & Smoking

  • Several characters are implied to be drinking alcoholic beverages at Commissioner Gordon's retirement gala. Bruce Wayne asks for one just to spew it out in surprise.
  • Batman says Alfred "has been watching way too many LifeTime movies, and drinking Chardonnay", Alfred then corrects Batman by saying he's drinking Pinot Grigio.
