No it's not historically accurate but it's entertaining

Clearly this isn't meant to be historically true and there are some parts that are but honestly it's such a good "junk food" show. Season 2 is even better than the first, the stakes are a lot higher. This episode is one my favourites so far I love Mary and Catherine being stuck together and Catherine scoffing down as much food as she can 😂 Again really enjoying this season 👌

Argh!!

Warning: Spoilers
The thing about historical dramas, replete with evil characters, is...Dammit!!! Narcisse never existed, kill him!!! Right now!!! I'm serious!!!

I'm also not crazy about Scotland and England being referred to as Protestant countries...and why does Scotland come up so infrequently?

Not to mention that "Germany", which doesn't really exist yet, has become protestant while no one was looking, and ignored the presence of the Holy Roman Empire - unless that's protestant too!!!!

When Mary reigned in Scotland, she usually attempted to be a mitigating influence (unless she was having her second husband killed to marry her third), or some such.

I've reserved all my historical ire for this one individual, and am venting said spleen on this one episode, so please pardon me.
