Modern family is one of those shows that can be watched repeatedly. Over the last 1 week i have completed 3 marathon runs of watching all 5 seasons of this show back to back. It surprises me how every episode still manages to bring out the laughs. This episode shows 2 characters from the show that i absolutely love bonding with each other. Jay and Manny share a very complicated but fascinating relationship. From trying to fix a fan together in the first season to what happens in this episode we see them having come a long way. One of the many things that i love about this show is how every episode also tries to convey a life lesson or some parenting/relationship advice as 3 separate story lines converge. In this episode we also see coach tucker dealing with sport superstitions and the dunphy's having 'spacing' issues. A good episode, i just hope the rest of the season continues the excellent run this show has had ever since it began. Tom thesentimentalidiot.blogspot.com
