Warning: Spoilers
What I would have written here prior to this episode was that it was true to form in terms of the spiraling path of an addict.

In the last episode I watched, I caught a waft of something different than the realistic impact a spiraling, manipulative addict has on everyone who is on the up and up around them in an exchange between Zoey and Thor.

In this episode, S7, E5, the writers left realism behind, painting Jackie in some kind of a heroic light, with Zoey and Thor clapping and smiling, whispering something about the joy of having Jackie back in charge, even tho their co-worker and friend, the pharmacist, just got canned for enabling her with 1000's of dollars of pharmaceuticals.

Prior to this episode, I'd have recommended this series for an addict or their loved ones to gain an perspective of the downward spiral, damage, and manipulation involved in addiction. Certainly there are multiple episodes where the addict's consequences were incredibly minimized or non-existent. This is the first episode where the addict is actually glorified.

Am incredibly disappointed in the spin it's taken in this episode, and perhaps even more disappointed that the ratings have remained high.

Apparently the writers were aware that the primary audience would root for a villain hero, sacrificing an incredibly important message for popularity and bucks.

Enuf.
