Barry Allen : You know, to be honest, not exactly the partnership I thought it would be.
Felicity Smoak : Oh, did he really do the thing with the arrows?
Barry Allen : [exasperated] You knew he was gonna shoot me?
Felicity Smoak : Well, it is practically impossible to tell when Oliver's making a joke.

Oliver Queen : You're late. Barry, how can you have super speed and still not be on time?

Barry Allen : Okay. Fine. I will humor you.
[Barry runs up the field]
Barry Allen : Ready?
Oliver Queen : Ready.
[Oliver fires an arrow at Barry, he runs towards Oliver and catches it]
Barry Allen : Nice try.
[Hidden arrows behind Barry strike him in his back]
Barry Allen : Gah! Ah! What, you shot me?
Oliver Queen : I heard you heal fast.
[Oliver pulls the arrows out of Barry's back]
Barry Allen : Ahh! Oh, God!

Iris West : [excited] You did not tell me that you knew Oliver Queen.
Barry Allen : [flatly] I know Oliver Queen.
Iris West : Oh, my God. He's even more handsome in person, and his arms are, like, TWICE the size of yours.
Barry Allen : Technically they're not twice the size.

Barry Allen : He calls himself "The Arrow" now.
Joe West : Oh, does he... "Flash?"
Barry Allen : Wait, what's the problem?
Dr. Harrison Wells : We don't trust him.
Barry Allen : You guys don't even know him.
Joe West : I know that he was wanted for murder in at least twelve different cases dating back three years.
Dr. Harrison Wells : I know there's been at least two major terrorist attacks in Starling since he became active.
Barry Allen : All right, the cops there are cool with him now. He doesn't kill people anymore.
Joe West : And what about all the criminals that he put arrows through? Those, what, don't count?
Barry Allen : He's a hero, Joe.
Dr. Harrison Wells : You're a hero, Barry. You offer protection, hope, light. What that man does is carry out a dark reckoning for his city. It is a brutal, violent vision of justice, one we do not share. You truly think he's a hero? Fine, so be it, but he's not the kind you should be looking up to.

Oliver Queen : There's one more thing and you're not going to like it.
Barry Allen : Does it involve you shooting me in the back?
Oliver Queen : No. No, the heart.
[looks over at Iris]
Oliver Queen : That's not gonna work out for you. And you need to let her go, for both of your sakes. Guys like us don't get the girl.

Felicity Smoak : My shirt's on fire!
Barry Allen : Oh, I'm sorry!
Felicity Smoak : I'm glad I decided not to go braless.
Barry Allen : [sees Cisco and Caitlyn] You guys remember Felicity?
Cisco Ramon : I'll always remember this.

Oliver Queen : Barry, I have been living this life for almost eight years, encountering things that you can't even fathom, and I am still alive. Not because super-speed kept me out of the ground. It was because I realized that I needed to keep learning, keep training, keep getting smarter, and until you get that, despite your best intentions, you will do more harm than good.
Barry Allen : I finally see it. You're a little bit jealous of me, aren't you? For a guy like you - handsome, rich, can have any girl he wants - jealousy's probably a new emotion for you, so you might be a little slow to get what it is that you're feeling.
Oliver Queen : That's your theory?
Barry Allen : Absolutely. So you can train, lift weights, climb that stupid barn till your heart explodes, but you'll never be as fast as I am. You'll never be what I am, and that's got to hurt your rock-hard pride, Ollie.

Barry Allen : Uh, well, since you guys are here, why don't we team up? I'll help you find your boomerang man, you can help me find my super rage-a-holic.
Felicity Smoak : We'd love to.
Oliver Queen : No, we'll handle our business and head home.
Felicity Smoak : The fastest way to find out everything we need to know about the boomerang is to sic S.T.A.R. Labs on it.
Oliver Queen : Enough people know my secret identity.
Felicity Smoak : Fine. I'll go. They already know who I am. You can drop me off and I will meet up with you later.
Barry Allen : How 'bout I give you a lift?
Felicity Smoak : Whoo!
[takes Felicity and speeds off]
John Diggle : Man, that's not freaking you out?

Oliver Queen : Okay.
Barry Allen : Okay, what?
Oliver Queen : Okay, we'll help you catch your bad guy.
Barry Allen : Great. Meta-human.
Oliver Queen : I am not calling him that, Barry.

Barry Allen : The Arrow gets results.
Joe West : He's a crazy man.
Barry Allen : Look, I don't actually disagree with you at the moment, but we wouldn't even have Bivolo's name if it weren't for the Arrow; so, maybe instead of judging him, you should just be thanking him.
Joe West : Two things I won't be doing in this life - playing professional baseball and thanking that lunatic.

The Flash : Who the hell are you, huh? You think you can just come along and get to have whatever you want? What gives you the right?
Detective Eddie Thawne : What the hell are you talking about?
Iris West : What are you doing? What has happened to you?
The Flash : I feel fine.
Iris West : You are not fine.
The Flash : How would you know? Because you write about me? You don't know me! You don't know who I am. You never did.
Iris West : I know that you have risked your life to help people, to save them! Some one who does that does not suddenly turn around and want to hurt people. Please.

Iris West : Is this your way of telling me that you want satellite radio for Christmas? Look, I'm not mad at you.
Detective Eddie Thawne : Good, 'cause there no reason you should be.
Iris West : Eddie, both you and The Flash care about protecting this city. You would both give your lives for it. You're more alike than you think, okay? He's not the bad guy.
Detective Eddie Thawne : How do you know so much about him, Iris?
Iris West : He got in touch with me after I started the blog, and I've seen him a couple times.
Detective Eddie Thawne : A couple times? Why didn't you tell me about this?
Iris West : Well, given the fact that I think he's a hero, and you want to put him in jail, do you really want to ask that question?
Detective Eddie Thawne : How could you ever think I would be okay with this?
[the Flash speeds up to the car and yanks Eddie from his seat and throws him to the ground]
The Flash : I heard you've been looking for me. All this time, you've been trying to catch me, and I caught you first. Guess you haven't read your girlfriend's blog.
