Conclusion after 5 seasons: a Guilty Pleasure

Warning: Spoilers
This series is like an old friend, you get used to its foibles and peculiarities.

What foibles you ask? Like the the fact that some 80% of its missions fail. Like the fact that the team's firing accuracy is some 95% (targets hit) but when the bad guys shoot back at them, the firing accuracy drops to about 2%.

Like the fact that it is full of stereotypes.

Not that that is a bad thing, just sayin. The women are all gorgeous. The older men are all stupid. (Like the guy that was married to Michelle Yeoh for decades and never realized she was a North Korean agent. Or, perhaps, never wanted to realize it..?) The younger people are all stupid and always getting into trouble (this season starts with a young girl getting kidnapped because she took needless risks, and when Damien's teenage son shows up, he refuses to believe his dad is an agent and instead assumes his long-lost father is a drug dealer).

In an earlier review I compared this series to another series from the same production company, BANSHEE, and concluded that really was like comparing apples and oranges.

Nonetheless, for fans of oranges, it is good to have an old friend back. Hi Buddy I missed yuh.
