You will get goosebumps all over your body.

This is the first time I've ever made a review of a show or a movie but I thought that "Sense8" deserved one not only because I really liked it but because it's a show that's not for everybody and I'd like to note that to the users.

So, what to expect in this episode? Pure awesomeness, that totally sums up my experience watching "I Cant Leave Her". It is true that I've felt this way for most of the show's episodes but this one was just so, so good that I cannot even start describing what I feel with words.

Long story short, you'll cry, cheer with emotion, get goosebumps and scream in front of your computer or TV as you see the story develop in one of the best episodes from any TV show this year.

This episode is so full of emotions and various stories that I can't really sum up any of them but I'd like to note that you'll be very satisfied with the series finale.

The performances are great, the script is really well written as you're glued to the screen at every moment, the editing is sublime and the cinematography... Oh the cinematography, it's been a long, long time since I've seen a movie or show so beautiful. Every single shot could be a still for a cinema magazine cover and it's a treat for your eyes seeing the Icelandic landscape in such a beautiful format.

The Wachowskis have finally redeemed themselves for all the not-so-good films they produced lately and they have created a masterpiece that will be up there where the best works in TV form the last decade are.

I totally recommend, no, beg you to watch this show and expect a mind-bending plot that will make you think, feel and scream for more.

Warning: Spoilers
Get ready to for the adrenaline rush, you aren't ready for...really! This episode is going to make you cry and cheer for this group of amazing individuals. Each character will draw you in and make you love them more and more.I found that this episode pulls no punches, pardon the pun...LOL. I was really excited to see that the story lines continued evolution. The growth in this final episode will leave you screaming at the screen for more of Sense8, almost each episode has come to some kind of climatic resolution. I must tell you that I enjoyed each episode explicitly and can't wait for Season 2. If you watch you will not be disappointed.

Warning: Spoilers
There were a few very emotional and exciting moments... Riley gives birth... Will and Riley escape from Whispers... They have to choose whether to kill themselves to save the rest of the sensates...

But that's only two characters. Most of the other sensates remain underused when it comes to the main storyline. Most of them aren't really involved in the fight against Whispers, which makes them seem irrelevant. Many stories remain incomplete, with plot threads left hanging without being addressed. The question of Kala's marriage is left till next season to be dealt with... As if spending 12 episodes on it wasn't bad enough...

Sense8 vs Humans vs Heroes Reborn
A_Different_Drummer12 October 2015
Because your humble reviewer likes to archive content for later viewing, I found myself watching episodes from this show, Humans, and Heroes Reborn more or less in the same time period.

And, from that perspective, it was no great leap to understand that they are all telling the same story (Mankind's terminal and persistent resistance to change) in their own unique way.

My notes may be helpful, or not:

1. All 3 shows owe a debt of gratitude to Stan Lee and the team behind X-Men, the first narrative in the modern era to seriously explore this key theme.

2. All 3 shows can be seen as aspects of the whole -- Sense8 loves its images, and can be considered the right brain or sensory aspect of the story; Heroes (the disappointing 2015 version) is entirely left-brain, all about the front-story, back-story, the narrative, the dialog, the voice-over. And Humans is the soul of the piece, even without the skills of LA FAMILLE WACHOWSKI, there are unique scenes in Humans which drill deep into your subconscious and never let go.

3. All three series are in their own way brilliant and yet seriously flawed. Humans, probably the best of the bunch, crammed so much emotion into its first season that even the fans are wondering if there is any ammunition left for another go? Sense8 falls to the sin of narcissism. It is so in love with its own images that it even repeats them episode to episode. And by e10, most loyal viewers have seen enough child-birthing to qualify for Early Admission into a Gynecology program. And Heroes "reborn" while perky and different on its own is merely a ghost, a phantasm of what the original was. (But you have to be over 20 to know that, and the demographic of the show deliberately does not aim that high.)

All great TV, but none perfect.

And thanks again, Professor X.

Loving this series but this episode??? No logic
julie-frasher26 February 2022
Warning: Spoilers
I love this series but this episode just makes no "Sense". (In the past) Riley, an Icelandic native, gives birth in a rolled vehicle after her husband wrecks their old Saab down a snowy embankment on the way to hospital. He's dead and instead of using his clothing for herself and the newborn, she embarks on a journey on foot to who knows where. She heads away from the road and into the Icelandic mountains with the baby in a scarf and she wearing a shirt, flowy skirt and bare legs. This sequence makes no sense. I am pretty certain anyone that was raised in Iceland would have some basic survival skills and know not to do this or they'd face certain death. C'mon writers...not logical.

A promising disappointment
grhgulhan13 June 2015
i have watched all episodes within the last two days, so i have a pretty fresh memory of all. The first few episodes were promising, the middle 5-6 were hard to bear with, the last 3 were OKAY, just okay nothing more, the finale was supposed to be seen thru all the episodes. so is this a great finale for a great show? NO its not.. its a reasonably good finale for an awfully performed show that spits on the great concept, good plot, and probably a good lot of budget that i predict from good filming quality, and decent performance from main actors.

Seeing this show here rated so high is nothing but a sign of voting manipulation.. which is becoming more and more popular on IMDb lately.

the good, the bad and the ugly about the whole season The good, Interesting concept, promising plot, good filming quality, good performance from main characters, nice landscapes, and visuals.

The bad Annoying level of random, irrelevant sexual scenes and nudity, abnormally high level of bisexuality thrown on our faces, annoying flashbacks from every character that seem out of place, severely boring and dull episodes, extremely slow progress and development of the overall plot as well as character's personal presentation. Irrelevant big words thrown here and there around the episodes continuously. Poorly planned action scenes despite the reasonable visual performance. A lot of irrelevant blahblah that doesn't contribute to character presentation, doesn't make me feel attached to anyone in the show.. despite some good backgrounds for the characters having thought of the way they are introduced to us is extremely lacking of any impression.

The ugly, Stories.. stories.. stories.. more than half of the total time of total episodes is character's continuously telling some bullcrap story from the past,, my dad was.. my uncle was.. when i was a kid,, my sister was... he said.. she said... Honestly.. sickeningly repetitive... some episodes were difficult to not to FF which is something i rarely do even with the worst flicks.

overall the idea is good.. and i can see the money spent, there is effort, but its constantly failing to perform the best.

i can see a good idea was picked by a group of statistics lovers, and just the common assumption in the industry that "as long as what you sell matches to browse results, it should work" sort of soulless production was performed.

We can see this in choices of main characters, the cop, the criminal, the junkie, the innocent, the poor, the gay girl, the gay man... smells statistics?

how about the White, the Hispanic, the Black, the Asian, the European, The Russian, The Indian ??

Statistics are fine if worked around correctly, its not a bad thing to draw a picture where everyone can relate to some part of it, but if you make cheap dishes, and present them in ideal plates..

that doesn't necessarily make a good dining experience.

Lets hope second season will fix these, and improve.

This finale on its own was decent; the season on the whole was very disappointing
gridoon20243 February 2023
I loved the first two episodes of "Sense8"; in fact I wrote in my comment for the pilot here that it has a cool premise that seems to have legs. Well, I was only half-right: the premise is cool, all right, but the season itself is an one-trick pony that soon loses its novelty value. To put it bluntly, pretty much nothing happens between episodes 3 and 11 (included); of course, a lot of stuff does take place on the screen, but there is no real story to tell, there are no stakes, there is nothing of consequence. And when a connecting "story" finally does emerge, it's just the millionth retread of the super-secret-powerful-para-governmental organization of bad people who want to "study" the scientifically-abnormal heroes. Music, acting, production values, location work - everything technical is well-done, but there is still nothing to motivate me to watch the second season. 6/10.
