The writers need to start writing Rusty as more likable, especially if they are going to devote segments of an episode to him. Again they painted him as a whiny brat who was not getting his own way. The bottom line is yes, as an audience over the last 4 seasons we have accepted him as a character, but he has not matured that much and really in my humble opinion adds nothing to the show, in fact he distracts from the main body of storytelling and this episode showcased it. Adding a younger character may have been an opportunity to appeal to a new demographic, but a Rusty (even his name is annoying) to me, is just so out of context. Looking forward to the season though, just steer focus away from Rusty, please!
