It's Just a Show
Hitchcoc7 November 2021
It seems that all the reviewers these days have one thing in common. All they can talk about is how funny the show used to be. If I have a bad experience at a restaurant, I don't go there any more. Please just stop watching. The main story here is when Leonard and Sheldon are going to Berkeley to speak about their new findings. They decide to stop on their way at George Lucas's Skywalker Ranch. Of course, they get into trouble. It isn't an Emmy winner but there are some funny scenes.

Warning: Spoilers
Big Bang was excellent in the beginning and IMHO hit its peak between seasons 4 & 6. So many episodes were laugh out loud funny but, and I don't know the reason, it's just not funny anymore. Perhaps it's the women. As a woman, myself, I have always found it odd that ALL three have a dislike for what the boys love most. Is this really the norm? I grew up with Star Trek and Star Wars. I love LOTR, Doctor Who and the like. In fact, that is my main problem with this episode. What an awesome TARDIS! And what was Bernadette going to sell it for at a yard sale? $50.00? It's Howard's property and so is, technically, his mother's house. I find it frustrating that the women walk all over the men and when the men do something similar to the women, even inadvertently, the women have a cow - or as Penny always pulls - she walks away like a spoiled brat. (As you can see I am not a Penny fan.) Granted they're nerds but so is Amy and to a lesser extent, so is Bernadette. Penny is/was the only exception and her character ... oh, my goodness. What have they done to her character? She makes more money than Leonard now, she dresses modestly??? It was the differences in she and the boys that made the show funny. Now it's just mean. Mean humor, and 2 dimensional representatives of the original cast. End it. It is no longer funny (to me).
