Really odd!

Warning: Spoilers
Well, this episode was really odd! They actually went sci-fi. Yes, there were sci-fi episodes before, but the resolution always explained that there's nothing sci-fi going on. This episode took it to the next level.

The writers for this episode wrote Smells like teen spirit, also. A sci- fi..ish episode. And when I saw the promo, I was really skeptical. And through all 40 minutes, I was hoping that we'll see an resolution including no sci-fi. But by the end I kinda went with it, and I realized that's not gonna happen. Still not approving it totally. I mean it wasn't sci-fi like Doctor Who. But, still, an invisibility cloak. Really?

But, the case was really well written. And there were some funny moments still.

So, it's all on you. If you can suspend your disbelief, you're gonna like this episode. Or if you're just gonna hate that they put an invisibility cloak as a resolution, then you'll probably want to forget this episode.

Warning: Spoilers
C'mon Castle; you can do better than this.

Invisible suits? Really? Is this what it's come to? I thought it was bad enough to start out the season with the old soap-opera "lost his memory" twist (wonder what will happen to that?) ... but sci-fi?

This is NOT why I watch this show. I've given it a 5 because the banter is still quite entertaining, and I still think the cast is great; but the episode as a whole sucked. If this is the best that season 7 can come up with, maybe it's better that there isn't a #8.

It happens to the best of 'em ... and Castle has been at the top for quite a while.

Put up or shut up ABC (and writers), but please don't give us dross.

Jumped the Pool Shark

This episode was without a doubt the worst Castle episode I've seen. The plot wasn't even close to believable. I lost interest pretty early on.

This season of Castle has been very disappointing so far. The plots stretch credibility ... too much. It's looking like Castle may have "Jumped the Shark." (See "Happy Days")

It seems like the writers are running out of novel material. Postponing Castle and Beckett's marriage was a mistake as well. How long do the writers think the fans will hold on for? Is the new "mystery" of Castle's disappearance supposed to be a "hook"? I know I'm losing interest in this show very quickly. If the plots don't get back to the previous quality in the next episode or two, they are going to lose me.

With this terrible episode, there will be a marker where we may later say, "Castle Jumped the Pool Shark".

They have lost this viewer

I'm surprised they made it another season after this one. The same problem is true with all of these great series that go downhill after a few seasons. THEY FORGET WHO IS WATCHING!! These writers forget to play for their audience and they play for what interests them....all of this magic, paranormal, and stupid characters do not bode well the action drama this show started out to be.

After 3 great episodes, including the last episode of the previous season....

They usually follow a few good episodes with a dud. Yep, this episode is a dog. Castle again goes for the horror/paranormal view even though every time he has done this in the previous six seasons, he has been proven wrong, always. Writing this review before seeing the ending....so no spoiler available here.
