4 decently made short stories

Warning: Spoilers
This movie is 4 short stories made by 4 different French directors, filmed in Tokyo all in Japanese.

The first story "endless love" is about a man that lives a groundhog day. He always lives the same Wednesday. He then finds out that when he kills someone, the time goes back 1 day. He uses this new knowledge to go back in time to see his deceased wife again

The second story "trahison" is about a woman who wakes up in her apartment to her phone ringing. When she anders the phone she can only hear backwards screams. She then looks into the mirror to see a demonic version of herself.

The third story "shadow hunter" is about a woman who's hunting shadow demons. Not much to say about this one but it's for sure my least favorite from all the 4 stories.

The 4th movie "good boy" surprisingly starts with an animation about the story of the dog hachiko, the dog waiting daily for his owner at the train station when his owner was at work. One day the owner died and the dog still waited for the rest of his live for his owner to come back. Back in the real world there is a man waiting for his girlfriend at the statue of hachiko. Angry about her not meeting up with him, he tries to write something with a knife into the statue. His knife falls down and then the statue becomes alive and attacks him, he slightly gets hurt on his hand. Angry that his girlfriend didn't meet him he planned on having intercourse with "every woman in Tokyo". He didn't know that he will try to repeat the story of hachiko himself in a very bloody way.

Overall the 4th Story is the best. It's got a slight twilight zone feel too it. The low budget loom of every movie might not make this movie loved by many. But people that like Japanese independent movies sure can have alot of fun watching these just like I did.
