This film rides off the rails of grittiness and seduction. as the powerful dark world behind the even more dark characters show glimpses of hope in their bleak lifestyle, This film tightens your neck and does not let go. Which is what films nowadays are supposed to do, bring you into a world and let you know the characters and the eviorment they thrive in. Permanent does all these things and the direction is equally complimented by the brilliant cast. I was fortunate to see this gem of an indie flick and I am glad to say that I was not bored, A solid film all around and barely any downtime. I look forward to what the director does next. 8/10
