The hacks driving low ratings must have an ax to grind or wouldn't know funny if it slapped them. Enjoy

Better than any other stand up I've seen
mistoppi28 August 2015
I'm not even a big fan of stand up, so when I ended up watching this, I didn't know what to expect. I don't like sitting and just watching someone walk around on stage for an hour talking, it's usually very boring.

But I do like Chelsea Peretti, and I loved her humour, every bit of it, even if I didn't laugh at every joke. Her stuff is easy to relate to, and when it's not it's still funny. And what made me really like this was that it sometimes broke the viewer's train of thought by showing that clown or something else. It was really interesting and felt almost artistic in a way.

Maybe I haven't seen much stand up, but this is way better than any other thing I've ever seen. I actually was able to sit through it and not feel like I was bored or try to start playing some solitaire while this playing on the background. So in short, great stuff, I warmly recommend this to anyone who feels like watching some stand up: Chelsea Peretti is excellent.

Not that great if you ask me.

I only knew Chelsea Peretti from the comedy series Brooklyn Nine-Nine, which I love by the way, but in all fairness in that show she's the only character that bugs me a bit. So I was curious to see if it was just the character or just the person that I'm not a big fan of. After watching One Of The Greats I can only conclude she's not one of the greatest stand-up comedians. I won't say I didn't laugh at all but it sure felt short for my sense of humor. The randomly placed extras in her show are not even slightly funny, not even the dogs, I wonder what she was thinking doing this. I guess I will never become a big fan of Chelsea Peretti but that's fine, it will probably work for some and won't for others, that's what it is with humor, we all have our own perception of what's funny and what's not and in this case I was just not impressed.

You know, like....

How many times can she "like" and "ya know" and "ya know, like" and "like, ya know" in one like sentence? She's not worth filtering through all the "likes" to get to hear the trivial bull that she tries to present. A complete waste of an hour.

The greatest

This is the only standup I've watched repeatedly since Eddie Murphy and Chevy Chase. I spend at least 1/24 of my day looking how to find it in France since Netflix pulled it here. @chelsea: please help. I'll trade ya. This is the holy grail of a comedic performance. If you understand irony, the intro is refreshing. I live in the south of France, and I gotta say, these women also forget I'm tender headed. Every single point/joke/observation is hilarious but a "thinker." But not in an annoying way. If I could integrate watching this into my daily life, I would. The multiple levels of sarcasm used to build a story would remind me that life's not that serious.

One of the Worst

Title says it all. She's really not very funny. I'd rather listen to Fran Drescher read War an Peace in her Nanny voice for 90 minutes than watch anything with Peretti in it after watching this special.

didn't laugh

I was expecting this to be funny, but it wasn't good at all. I did not laugh at all. She keeps saying 'like' and 'ya know' which got me kinda annoyed lol. No hate though cuz I like her in Brooklyn 99.
