La-based Nigerian filmmaker Pascal Atuma's comedy feature titled "Lapd African Cops," may have come at what could possibly be the worst of times, given all that's happening in Ferguson, Mo, with regards to the shooting death of teen Michael Brown, which led to ongoing protests, practically all over the world, as well as reactions to police officers over the years by African Americans, notably the Lapd, who have routinely been the subjects (and not admirably) of tracks by rap groups like N.W.A.
