- Jo Martinez: You know I figured it out, right? I know your secret Henry! Your whole issue with the museum. You're a modern art guy
- Henry Morgan: Trust me, I am a classicist
- Jo Martinez: Alright. Now I am really confused. You keep me guessing?
- Henry Morgan: It reminds me of something
- Jo Martinez: Who?
- [Henry remains silent]
- Jo Martinez: Come on Henry, I am an NYPD detective. I'm gonna get a name out of you. Trust me, time is on my site.
- Henry Morgan: You'll find with me, Jo, that's not usually the case
- Jo Martinez: Okay, what it is? Spill it! You're acting stranger than normal
- Henry Morgan: It's nothing
- Jo Martinez: What Henry? What is your issue with museum? Why don't you come here?
- Henry Morgan: Old memories
- Jo Martinez: Okay, can I say one thing? A cop usually knows what is going on with their partner. We should talk
- Henry Morgan: I am an ME, Jo, I'm not sure I'm officially your partner
- Jo Martinez: I was not making any official kind of point
- Henry Morgan: For the dead, all is forgotten. But all is not lost because they're remembered by us. Some we think of fondly, others less so. A few are remembered by many, and some by only a few.
- Lucas Wahl: I'm really excited to be your onsite lead for this. Uhm. Would you, would you like to hear my initial report?
- Jo Martinez: Yeah, okay. Let's have it
- Lucas Wahl: Well, to begin with: she's dead!
- Lt. Joanna Reece: What are you doing here?
- Henry Morgan: Assisting with the case. Offering a meta-analysis. I can help, lieutenant
- Lt. Joanna Reece: So Jo keeps telling me
- Henry Morgan: May I stay?
- Lt. Joanna Reece: How can I tell you to stay? You're not even here!
- Henry Morgan: I'm sorry, are you asking me to leave?
- Lt. Joanna Reece: Oh, for God sake, Henry! Just watch!
- Henry Morgan: [Seeing Lucas rushes in] Lucas?
- Lucas Wahl: Yes? Hey! Hi!
- Henry Morgan: What did you do?
- Lucas Wahl: Okay, before I tell you I'd really prefer you don't get mad
- Jo Martinez: What's happening?
- Henry Morgan: Lucas took a long lunch! Lucas never takes a lunch longer than half an hour. Enough time to enjoy exactly one comic book
- Lucas Wahl: It's a graphic novel
- Henry Morgan: He's also wearing his metro card lanyard, which usually hangs on the light behind his workstation until he leaves at 8. Where did you go Lucas?
- Jo Martinez: You know, I know it's hard to go some place which holds good memories
- Henry Morgan: You do?
- Jo Martinez: Yeah. Yeah, my husband and I, we used to have this spot in Chinatown. Best Dim Sum in the city. After he died I went back exactly one time. The good memories, those are the ones that hurt the most!
- Henry Morgan: [sighs] Her name was Abigail
- Jo Martinez: And there you go! We're talking, getting to know each other. Good. Now I have a serious question: Yankees or Mets?
- Henry Morgan: More of a cricket man
- Jo Martinez: Let's go, partner
- Henry Morgan: She crawled 30 meters into the gallery. In agony. In pain. Why?
- [pause]
- Henry Morgan: There was someone else.
- Jo Martinez: The guard said Gloria was alone.
- Henry Morgan: He was wrong.
- Jo Martinez: I'm not sold.
- Henry Morgan: Very well, I'll explain it again.
- Jo Martinez: No, listen. There's no way of knowing that there was someone else.
- [phone rings]
- Jo Martinez: Hang on... Yep.
- Mike Hanson: [phone voice] There was someone else.
