The first painting Sydney and Amanda admire in the museum is by Philips Wouwerman's - Polish-Swedish "Deluge". The second painting is Jan Gossart's portrait of an elderly couple.
Whilst walking through a pre-1950 factory fluorescent lamps can be seen hanging from all the ceilings. This is Not a goof (even though the lamp housings are indeed modern). As an example; according to Wikipedia: "By 1951 more light was produced in the United States by fluorescent lamps than by incandescent lamps."
