Here is showed how despite all the efforts, the battle, the deaths, the mission failed in some ways. The Juubi, the unstoppable monster was revived. In the plotline, Madara fights Naruto-Kurama and the Hachibi. First, he attacks with Susanoo, but then he sends the wood dragon of Hashirama to keep them contained. Meanwhile, Kakashi deals with Obito, and Gai, injured remains with the Hachibi. Kakashi asks him why he is with Madara, but Obito insists he has nothing to say, and after seeing his first attack blocked, he uses Kamui to send him to the other dimension. Obito remembers when he summoned the Kyuubi to attack Konoha, and the moments before facing his sensei. He still held the memories of the day he met Minato, Rin and Kakashi, their first conversation about his dream of becoming Hokage, but then he proved he doesn't care anymore. Meanwhile, Kakashi, with all the memories on his mind, uses the last Kamui to get out. He may thinks he is scum for not being able to save Rin, but all this time he thought Obito as a hero. Back to the real dimension, though exhausted after using Kamui, he still asks, if was because of Rin, but Obito tells him to shut up, calling him scum, and attacks him. The Uchiha uses two shurikens and wounds Kakashi's on his chest. Now seriously injured, Kakashi still tries to reason, and tells his former friend that he is a hero of Konoha, he doesn't have to do this. But Obito is laughs, and says that everyone, who supports his friends and who is supported, every ninja on this world became scum. Both of them are a good example. Nobody can escape this cycle of trash, that's why the world must be rebuilt. In the meantime, Naruto and the Hachibi are in trouble, trapped by the wood dragon that blocks them with Mokuton. But Naruto grows in anger with Obito and Madara, so he manages to escape in time. Before Obito can finish Kakashi, and Madara stab the Hachibi, Naruto uses a clone and saves them. He assures he won't let his friends die, the same words his sensei taught him four years ago. Kakashi is sorry with Naruto, as he couldn't fulfill the words of Obito, that he told him. But Then, in the next attack, he protects Naruto with the chidori, and tells the Uchiha that his old self is in Naruto, so he will protect him. The Hachibi finally breaks the wood trapping him, and warns Naruto about the Mokuton. Obito then attacks Naruto with the wood technique, and intends to use Kamui again on Kakashi, aware that in his current state, won't be able to return. Naruto is glad to finally see Obito's face, and the suffering he expresses, but the villain tells him to look at Kakashi. Realizing how bad he is, Kurama switches back with his jinchuriki, takes Kakashi's hand, and throws him at Obito, who sends him away with Kamui. Kurama explains to Naruto that he passed chakra to his sensei, that way he'll be able to return. Being each one on both dimensions, now Naruto and Kakashi are able to hit Obito using his space time ninjutsu against him. Anyway, soon, the barrier containing the Juubi starts to break, so Kurama and Gyuki try to stop the monster at the last moment, with two huge Bijuu damas. There's a huge explosion, but it was too late, and the Juubi finally appears. Obito assures that this is the end, while Madara was calmly waiting for this.

So, all was for nothing. Anyway, the rest of the episode was entertaining, especially the fight between Kakashi and Obito. Was sad to see how hurt was Kakashi. Surely he was really close to death here, more than never. Before watching this episode, for the first time, I thought he'd die. He has been suffering since he found out what happened to Obito. It's like he reminded him of his failures, of Rin, the memory of his father, his sensei, his old self who followed rules, and so, all what he lost. When Naruto appeared to defend him, Kakashi was reminded of the things he won, and how the pupil he trained is right there, fighting for him. Then, Madara's actions were confusing. Looks like he is not taking things seriously, he tried to capture the two Bijuus with Hashirama's powers, but when this failed, he got to sit and wait for the Juubi. What a villain. Another character to remark is Kurama. The Fox is proving to be really smart and thinks faster than Naruto or the others. Maybe being inside gives him the needed sight to analyze the situation. Was unusual to see him helping Kakashi, but then it's clear that he wishes to remain with Naruto and try to defeat the Uchihas given their objective. One last comment, for some reason, looks like B and Gyuki are losing protagonism.
