While feasting to celebrate the victory in Mercia, the Vikings and the Christians have frictions and Floki is not happy with their alliance. Meanwhile Kalf brings King Horit's son Erlendur to Hedeby to protect him from Lagertha and Einar learns that he has married Jarl Borg's widow Torvi that had birth to the son of her previous husband. In Kattegat, Auslag is seduced and has sex with Harbard, neglecting her sons. When the two boys run to the frozen lake, Siiggy seeks them out and find them drowning in the lake. Will she save them?
"Scarred" is another great episode of "Vikings" with a tragedy in the end. The alliance between Christians and Vikings is fragile and are only kept due to King Ecbert and Ragnar. Princess Kwenthrith is not a reliable person and certainly some treason will happen. Things are too good between Ragnar, Lagherta and Ecbert in the middle of the tension of their men. Athelstan is living a great religious dilemma. My vote is eight.
