Final appearance of Della Reese, first appearance of Zak Santiago
safenoe23 December 2020
Warning: Spoilers
This is a touching episode that spans three generations. Our heart aches that Oliver's wedding anniversary passed without hearing from his estranged wife who's in Paris. Shane is heartbroken that Oliver won't continue his dancing lessons with her, because Oliver hopes in vain his wife will return.

This is Della Reese's final appearance in Signed, Sealed, Delivered, and also her final acting appearance. Zak Santiago makes his first appearance as Ramon, a dance instructor, and he chews the screen! Before too long he becomes a regular Signed, Sealed, Delivered.

Discord and love dominate this episode of the postables.

Cora Brant is busy reading Rita's novel...while the team looks for the father of a painter who painted in triptychs (his three paintings always tell a story).

"Baby, I know you poured your whole heart into that book. That's why it is so big."-Cora

The story centers around the a father and son who become estranged over the son wanting to be an artist instead of a mechanic like his dad.

Shane has stepped in as Oliver's dance partner for the student showcase when his 80 year old partner goes missing. They have some discord over the song but eventually agree on a beautiful song about love and healing. ("And so it goes" by Billy Joel)

"Same tempo, same steps, just a different song."-Shane

In an episode filled with discord and tragedy, they still manage to entwine the episode with a strong message of love.

"You're a wonderful partner."-Oliver.
