The 2 season starts off with many unanswered questions. The jump to a future timeline on an island in the northwest near Seattle, starts off with a viral infection on a ship that cdc people investigate headed by Peter Farragut, Dr. Sarah, and a Texas guy Dr. Kyle. They get dropped off to this island only to find with the help of a survivor, a cult lead by Michael. Surprisingly, Dr. Alan Farragut is part of this group and Sarah sees him. Why are they here on this island, where the virus is breaking out. Also, inexplicably Julia is on this island, did Spencer drop her off, how did she escape him after he blue up the artic base lab.

The ship the team investigates a ship for a possible viral outbreak That is not artic biosystems but could be more deadly I say more deadly because it could be basically just unsure.
They arrive Dr Sarah Jordan(Jordan Hayes) Dr Kyle Sommer(Matt long) and Peter farragut(neil napier) who are the one's investigating the outbreak find a source San Jose an island I guess you could say a mysterious or even a mystery island if you want to say that.
Dr Julia walker(kyra zagorsky) meets Caleb a man who is later introduced in a better way in the coming episodes whom they meet during in the "future" yep you heard it right.
Henceforth comes the phrase do you know the way to San Jose...
