Mostly great show

Warning: Spoilers
I watched this show start to last episode a few episodes were so soapy but most were on point. Concept was simple and cast was great. By watching entire show start to finish one can see where loose ends were left, casting was in issue by disappearing and reusing actors. Overall solid show but very odd last episode - not really a cliffhanger nor ties up things nicely. I would like to know why cast left, replaced, and behind the scenes info would have brought things to light.

Series fell off rails this season

I love this series - what a crazy and interesting concept all the way around. But in the last season, it really fell of the rails. Stacy & Owen? Worst concept ever to put Jane's bff and ex heart throb together. Greyson returns in another body instead of loving Jane as himself? Horrible concept (did the actor quit or wth was this spot of brilluance?) I mean, there's been so many crazy dramatic episodes but im pretty sure this ending was written overnight after a bachelor party.

It started skipping way befor that, tho, when they removed those fun musical numbers and then turned Stacy from cutesie to extremly boring and forgettable. You also have to forgive all the rediculous court case that are driven by liberal pie in the sky. But overall a fun show - until it's not. Probably a timely ending.

Uneventful and silly, with too many plot holes and shortcuts.

Warning: Spoilers
The Drop Dead Diva series as a whole, is entertaining and some episodes had both interesting storylines and courtroom scenes. But there were also those where the heroine in particular, won impossible cases, because writers were too pressured by political correctness, or limited by runtime. The series finale, is the latter. It felt just like any other episodes, with the only exception that Stacy had her baby. Jane's client was clearly guilty of eco terrorist acts, and putting workers life at risk. But she magically found another last seconds proof, to turn things around and have all the charges drop, like they did in too many episodes throughout the series... The way the finale concluded with Grayson/Ian (another stupid idea, when the heroine overcoming the loss of her first love, would've been much more interesting) serenading Jane, was corny in a cringeworthy way. Not only was it fan pandering at its worst, but it also erased Jane/Deb's evolution throughout those six seasons, and her most important « life lesson » about learning to let go, and the point of her having a guardian angel, to make sure she moves on properly. Basically, the whole premise of the show was denied by that lazily written last episode. Just stick to the first couple of seasons.

Such a terrible show with no redemptive aspect. this is what would happen if the cast of Saved by the Bell all got their law degrees online from the University of Phoenix and had Screech play the lead

please end this show.. no more seasons please

such a waste of bandwidth and time
