The best Vietnamese Horror Title since "Oan hon" in 2004

Since 2010, the Vietnamese film industry has been making a lot of horror movies such as Loi Nguyen Huyet Ngai, Ngoi Nha Trong Hem, Cot Moc 23, Qua Tim Mau etc.. but none of these films have delivered in the amount of scares and actors' performances as this movie. In this movie, Director Ham Tran (who also directed Am Muu Giay Got Nhon - How to fight in 6 inches heel) has succeeded in creating an eerie atmosphere throughout the movie, with elements only found in the area of Southern Vietnam. There are black magic curse, haunting ghosts, possession, prostitution problems... a lot of Asian horror themes in this movie. The only problem is the plot seems to be quite dragging at times, if the movie is cut down a little bit shorter, I would have given this a 10 of 10. If you are looking for an Asian horror movie with a lot of scary scenes, then make sure you do not miss this one.

Very effective horror

As a horror fan, the time I had the most fun with V-horror is with The Housemaid (2016) and that kinda sad because the quality of the movie only at the okay-ish level until I stumble upon Hollow a 2014 V-horror movie from Bitcoin Heist director Ham Tran. This movie still fall into the cliche circle of Asian horror movie from the characters to the movie execution but there also many thing that makes it stand out from others that is the eerie atmosphere and disturbing stuff that throw you out of the comfort zone and hit you hard in the emotion where you least expected it. This movie also the one that starts Lam Thanh My career when she played the main character at age of 11 and she kill it
