Sex & Nudity

  • There is regular conversations surrounding a crude sexual nature.
  • There are also some scenes of sex however not graphic

Violence & Gore

  • A man is punched in the face and suffers a broken nose. A small amount of blood is seen.
  • A female reporter is injured in a missile strike. She is shown in the hospital afterwards with minor wounds to her arm and face - not graphic.
  • A severed hand is discovered in a pile of ruble following a bombing. The camera does not linger and the scene is not graphic at all - it's presented in a lightly comedic fashion.
  • Several members of the press witness a drone strike at close range against a small group of enemy combatants. A few friendlies are injured - one reporter suffers a severe face wound and is shown covering his eye while blood streams down his face. A second victim is shown with bloody wounds on his arms and legs. The scene is not overly graphic but is emotional.
  • The aftermath of a drone strike against a group of enemy combatants is shown. Several dead bodies can be seen; the camera focuses on one particularly mutilated body that is missing the lower half of its leg. The stump and bone are clearly shown. This is by far the most graphic scene of the film but it only lasts a few seconds.
  • The movie takes place in a war zone so there are bombings and some body parts blown off by bombs.

Profanity

Alcohol, Drugs & Smoking

  • The foreign journalists are shown snorting cocaine and partying with alcohol on numerous occasions. There is some discussion of heroin but no use shown in the film.
